Do you want to make the Lakers dominate for the next 10 years because that is what you are doing. And Iverson is a terrible fit, let's put three of the biggest ball hogs in the NBA (Brand,Mercer,Iverson) on the court. Great

Great
I dont think Brand was a ball hog.....he just didnt have very many options offensively! We were the worse scoring team....someone had to step up and make shots, Brand did that!

That's not what the buzz is around the nba. Most media note that the Bulls basically forcefed the ball to Brand to win him the rookie of the year. And that he wouldn't be putting up those numbers for any good team.

Iverson for Brand strictly based on talent is an interesting idea. The Bulls would have the advantage early on. Brand still could become the most dominant pf in the league. Iverson's attitude and baggage makes it an entirely different ballgame though. There's no way I'd make that

2 of those average(d) 20 points a game. And these players would get mor if they were as ball hoggy as iverson!
1 plays more defense than everyone one the sixers w/ the exception of Ratliff, maybe! including iverson!
1 gave us much needed leadership last year! Iverson couln't
1 beat MJ one on one! Iverson couldn't

well, I'm glad to see that at least you're giving it a chance but the trade was Iverson for Fizer and Crawford...
that is a no-brainer

My god, what are you on!?!?!
None of those players are anywhere near Iverson. I would trade four of them (I'd rather keep Artest) for Iverson without even thinking twice.
How can you claim that 1 (Artest, I assume) plays better defense than the entire 76er team, one of the best defensive teams in the league? Are you nuts? And the other four can't even spell defense, much less play it (well, Hoiberg can probably spell it, but he has never been able to play it).
Iverson takes a lot of shots, but that is what he is asked to do. Iverson averaged 28.4 PPG on 42.1% FG and 24.8 shots/game. He also averaged over 2 steals and 5 assists/game. His ability really isn't a question. He has an intense desire to win, and that shows, on and off the court.
He has had problems getting along with his coach. That may be his problem, or Larry Brown's. For that reason, I would think twice before trading for him.
Brand for Iverson would be a good trade for the Bulls. A great trade if the problem is really one with Larry Brown and he doesn't have problems with the coaching staff of the Bulls. Fizer and Crawford for Iverson would be even
