{Based on how good the players were when they played for the Bulls]
STARTERS
Center Artis Gilmore Forward Bob Love Forward Scottie Pippen Guard Michael Jordan Guard Jerry Sloan
RESERVES
Bill Cartwright Horace Grant Dennis Rodman Chet Walker Toni Kukoc Norm Van Lier Reggie Theus
Ironically, this isn't the team I'd select for a game, season or series. For actual games, I'd sacrifice some all-around talent for some specialty skills (e.g. three-point shooting, a big body on an opposing center).

Theus... He's like Orlando Woolridge or Ron Mercer, a guy who scores the most on a bad Bulls team. Doesn't necessarily make him good...
Elton Brand? (Played only one less year for the Bulls than Rodman) A true point guard

Once Yao Ming is allowed to play in the N.B.A some team in the league are going to have an unfair advantage over the others. And sooner or Later he has no choice but to get some heart out there on the court. Tim Floyd could have succeeded teaching this guy his role out there on the court because, it's obviously what his role is going to be. Manute Bol, Shawn Bradley and Shaguille O'neil were/are 7 footers, but this guy Ming is 7'8 and he's probably still growing. Anybody that doesn't have to jump to slam dunk is most definately too tall for the N.B.A. Now,I really do love this game but let's not allow them to take all of the fun out of it.

Yep
I think you would have to think about Brand being in here somewhere. The list of Bulls with consecutive 20-10 seasons isn't that long. In fact it is even shorter than I thought. Bob Boozer and Love were almost there but as I look at the handy Encyclopedia Gilmore is the only other Bull to do it. Can that be right?

You can't argue with starters Gilmore, Love, and Pippen, so that leaves Grant, Rodman, and Brand at back-up for power forward. It might be a difficult decision because those 3 players are about as different as you can get. Rodman is the superior rebounder and defender and has great game smarts about him but is not an offensive threat. Grant was an all-around power forward and has the most range out of the three. Brand is probably a better low-post scorer. But If I could only take two of those 3, I would leave out Brand because while he may have the makings of being one of the elites, he has been a defensive liability in his first two years in the league.

And you think he's strong enough to get close enough to dunk uncontested?

IIRC, the Bulls had a real point guard in their very early days. I think it was Guy Rogers and he was the only Bull to led the league in
