Bagaric - Great Prospect!

Bulls fans, as an avid European and NBA follower, I must say how lucky you are to have drafted Dalibor Bagaric from Zagreb Cibona/ Benston.

He is a beast! There were times last year when he was unstopable. If given the chance, I see him as a solid centre next season. He needs to bulk up and learn the NBA game. This kid loves dunking over people. He's crafty, his passing is great, his range is outstanding and his FG% is in the low 60's.

Give the kid a chance and he will surprise you!

Mark my words, he is a future all-star!

I actually got to see 2 games of film on this kid and I have to concur. The kid is freaky athletic and is a certifable honest to god seven foot center. He is like 20 and I think he could be a Toni Kukoc like steal.

I don't know if you guys know, but I read in the newspapers here, that Cibona finally made a deal with the Bulls and NBA. There aren't going to be any law suits (spelling ok?), and the Bulls will pay some amount of money (cannot recall how much exactly) to Cibona. It's not much, but considering everything, it was the best thing to do (Bagaric now won't lose a season, he can finally play, although I think he should have stayed in Cibona for a couple of years longer; the sum you payed, although probably meaningless to you, could get useful for us, and we could have lost more in a law battle if there had been one).

I wish him good luck here, and hope Floyd will be able to make a helluva player out of him... He sure is a young, athletic 7-footer, and extremely talented. Don't mess up with him, please. :o)
