I don't think that this has any reason to do with his being snubbed for the all-star team. He receieved enough exposure to win the ROY last season but NBA coaches have always favored giving the all-star spots to guys from winning teams. And with good reason IMO since winning, not stats, is the ultimate goal.
There was a time when Bulls fans were on the other side of this argument back when Horace Grant was being named to the all-star team over players from lesser teams with better stats. How times have changed.
