The momentary blip on the screen of despair that we got after the coaching change has now shown itself to be exactly that, momentary. With Cartwright at the helm the Bulls have put two of their worst games of the season back to back, and that is saying something, with the Wiz and Pacers and will look to lay another egg at Miami.
The core problems are many and well discussed but it is obvious that the failure of many players to develop into acceptable pros, yes you Fizer, certainly wasn't due to Cartwright being stifled in his attempts to teach.
I have often said that this will be a team that has begun to turn the corner when Artest is no longer your starting small forward and I stick by it. He reminds me of a more athletic and less lumbering Oakley. High energy guy that does a lot of little stuff but he is too physically awkward to be a consistent scorer. Im going to add that obviously this will be a team on the rise when Mercer is no longer the leading scorer. Im so ready to pack his bags.
Fizer is apparently getting dumber and dumber. He is a man with no natural position and evidently no real desire to improve. Stupid shots, stupid offensive fouls, dumb ball handling mistakes.....he really looks like he has no sense of how he fits in with this team. I've noticed a big drop-off in the number of 'Fizer > Brand' posts in this group.
