out of any NBA playe, past and present, who would you compare Crawford's potential with(ie who will he be the next...). I for one think at worst Crawford will turn out like Kobe. A 6-6 guard who does a great job of handling the ball. who would you guys compare him too.

Well, the good people at NBATalk.com were comparing him to Anfernee Hardaway, but I think Crawford will be more of a point guard than Hardaway. Maybe you could say Jalen Rose, since their both big lead guards from Michigan. Who else... Bobby Sura?

He is so damn skinny that he could not survive as a 2 guard at the moment, which might be good news for the Bulls team. This way, he can concentrate on becoming the great point guard that he has been hyped up to be.

Bulls players and who I think they resemble (not as much the talent but the style):

Crawford - I haven't seen him much in real action, but Penny certainly is the closest match. Fizer - He was compared to Malone, but Glenn Robinson comes to mind. Brand - A mix of Webber & Barkley, but not as much range. Artest - George Lynch with better ball-handling. Ruffin - Darvin Ham. Or Jerome Williams. Ron Mercer - The typical slashing 6'6' guard with decent but not great range. Tarlac - If he works hard, he may become the next Voskuhl.

At the worst Crawford will be out of the league in 4 seasons and playing in Italy. At best, not sure who i would compare him too. He's not tall like Hardaway (he's 6'4 remember) and i doubt he would ever manage to have the all-round game of Hardaway. At best i think Crawford will be a 6th man combo-guard type. Probably good for 9 points and a couple of assists a game off the bench. I'm really not very fussed with him. Wasn't when he was wearing Michigan's uniform, and i CERTAINLY wasn't when my Cavs drafted him. I just don't see what all the fuss is about really.

Thats a big call, at worst he will be as good as Kobe. Kobe does a lot more than just handle the ball well.
