Man, this year's Bulls are just brutal. Isn't Ron Mercer supposed to be a good shooter? He's awful! shooting 35% and turning the ball over like crazy. I didn't expect MJ, but I certainly expected him to be better than he's been. Elton's getting mauled in the paint, I guess because it's obvious no one else can score.

I'd say the most obvious weakness so far is the point guard spot. Marbury and Best both just plain had their way with the Bulls. Drew looks a lot like Maloney did last year. A pretty good shooter who holds onto the ball, but he's no starting PG. Problem is, neither's anyone else. Oh, and my god, what's with all the turnovers? They look like a bunch of rookies out there. oh, uh, never mind

As for the Fizer experiment, it ain't looking good for him and the SF spot. He looks like a pretty good PF, but I'm not holding my breath for him playing a good SF.

On the bright side, Artest finally had a decent game and Brad Miller showed some promise. Let the Brand/Ruffin center experiment be over. If Mercer can start making some shots and take some pressure off of Brand, maybe they'll win one or two.

At least we're looking at another high lottery pick next year...

Not really. He's only shooting about 43% for his career which starts to look a lot worse when you consider that he doesn't shoot many 3-pointers unlike most other guards.
