With the season pretty much shot to hell after 11 games and the spectacle of watching the Bulls getting to be like box-seats at an autopsy, I thought we could have some fun with a good old fashioned Easter Egg hunt!

In the interest of fairness, we should NOT start actually looking for these guys until pull together a good 20 or so names. Unfortunately, I've pounded my forehead into the wall too many times over the past three years to remember all of the 'Where are they now?' candidates, so I'll need some help before we begin.

Here's my list so far:

1. Kornel David 2. David Willoughby 3. Dragan Tarlac 4. Corey Benjamin 5. Bison Dele 6. Rusty LaRue 7. Jeff Saunders 8. (What was the name of that gigantic University of Illinois Center Krause brought in during the first championship run, but who never actually played a game because he couldn't get below 350 pounds?) 9. Chris Anstey

Im in.

The ginourmous center you refer to at #8 wasn't a U of I guy at all if we're talking about the same guy. Are you thinking of Thomas Hamilton? He topped out at three and a half spins. He was a hs kid that knocked around in training camps with several teams and couldn't shake the idea that Stanley Roberts was a role model.

You're kinda missing the point there, Andrew. Y'know, the

Some of these guys are going to be pretty easy. But don't start yet!

I'm going to go find some mid-90s rosters now. Tons of discarded draft picks I haven't thought about since, well, they drafted them.

On 11/27/01 4:04 PM, I was aghast to see that Emir, who allegedly has the

He was recruited by Illinois, and committed, but two things...

1. He didn't have enough of a score to qualify. No problem, he took the test, and there was a problem with the score not coming back on time. Turned out...

2. He never took the test. Lied to the coaches about taking it, fessed up when the ACT folks said they had no record of him taking it, and his scholarship offer was rescinded.

I think he was supposed to go to Pitt after that, don't know what happened from there.

Yup, you got Roy Rogers and a second round pick for Scottie Pippen as part of the sign and trade with Houston. Damn that was a good deal!

Stacey King is currently or at least very recently has been the coach of the Rockford Lightening in the CBA. How good must it feel to have Stacey droppin' his knowledge on you??

Here is a Thomas Hamilton question.....

In the movie *Hoop Dreams* where the one kid goes downstate, they have to beat perennial powerhouse King. At the time King had two legit 7 footers which is obviously quite rare in high school. Now Im under the impression that Hamilton was one of those two. Course I drink more than I should and that leaves me fuzzy on some stuff but is that so??

I think so. He's always Siamese with Rashard Griffith in my mind so I'm inclined to believe he was the other seven footer.
