Does anyone think it possible that the Bulls trade Fizer for Ewing. The Bulls would then eat up a large chunk of Ewing's contract, in which there is one year left, and ship him off to the Sonics for Rashard Lewis and picks. Also, Portland might be interested, in which case we could pick up O'neal and Bonzi Wells or draft picks. Also, the Pacers might be interested in which case we could pick up Bender and some future draft picks.

To sum it up, the results would be:

Fizer for:

1. Rashard Lewis and Draft Picks (Sonics) 2. Jermaine O'neal and either Bonzi Wells or Draft Picks (Blazers) 3. Bender and Draft Picks (Pacers)

Do any of these deals sound good?

If Ewing never actually puts on a Bulls uniform then I don't see how it could hurt Chicago to be a way-station in a bigger deal for Ewing.

Anything, be it picks or players, is a plus now. We really can't be too choosy at this stage.

I certainly can't argue with that-pending some stellar trade during mid-season, we're not looking much better than last year's team as of right now. I seriously doubt that Ewing would care to play for the Bulls, but since I never thought I would see John Starks in a Bulls uniform either, I'm much more open to ideas than I was in the past. Whatever happens, let's hope that we manage to reap some benefits from it.
