How sad is it, losing to the Bulls? Not too long ago, the Heat were favored to win the East after acquiring Jones and Grant. Now look at them. Tied with the Bulls and Grizzlies for the worst record in the entire league.

''I don't know what the heck to say,'' said Eddie Jones, who led Miami with 15 points.

''I've never lost 10 games in a row at any level,'' Mourning said. ''This is new to me. But I'm not going to succumb to disappointment or be sorry for myself. I'm going to look at this as a challenge.''

If you saw the Chicago-Miami game then you deserve a beer. Lets hope that is the worst basketball we see all year.

Think about this. As Bulls fans we spend a lot of time bitching and moaning about our situation, rightfully so. Even so I think we might be a little inured to it.

Consider.......

Can you really imagine that as bad as the Heat are right now that they will be just as bad four years from now??

AND!!!

If they are just as bad in four year's time what is the likelihood that Riley will still have his job??

We're feeling your pain in Chicago Heat fans. But it could be one helluva lot worse.

Actually, isn't Riles part owner? He very well could still have his job no matter how badly they do. Though I suppose he could always fire himself.

Yeah, but I guess he could just fire Riles the coach. Or just fire Riles the GM.

I hope he steps down soon - both as coach and GM. He has already damaged his legacy a lot - why destroy it totally?

Yes indeed. It's quite cool. That's just how Issel runs things in Denver.

He was a bad coach for a while and had to fire himself, so then he was good again and, like, he convinced himself to give himself one more chance. I was like, wow.

Maybe they could get Jennifer Lopez to play one of Riley's high dollar Miami call girls.

They're problems go much deeper than PG. Seriously, if Mourning and Grant were healthy and the Heat had a decent SF, Carter would look like Jason Kidd. Give him a crappy team and he looks crappy. Fact is, Carter is a true PG like Kidd: Pass first, shoot second. Carter is not a good shooter; I think everyone will agree, but he has one of the best assist to turnover ratios in the league. This means he takes care of the ball and gets it to his teammates in good position.

Stop bitching about Carter. Miami needs help on the front line. Their back court is OK.

Not sure about as GM, but last season did he not say he had planned to retire from coaching at the end of last season, and was only going to come back this year for Mournings return?

Luckily I was out last night and taped it. This is definitely going to be my new strategy. I can easily see the whole game in less than an hr and avoid listening to most of the propaganda uttered by the Bulls shill
