It seems Hersey will be gone as soon as the money is negotiated. I always liked Hersey and think he has some game left. I am hoping the Bulls press and break more this year but they will need younger and faster legs.

If a trade were out there I have to believe it would be made. Hawkins was shopped aggressively before the deadline last year according to reports and nobody bit.
I like him but the better the Bulls are rid of all remnants of that Brent Barry deal the better.

step 1: him and b. miller make pretty much the same.....trade even up (hornets would have to sign him first.
step 2: Next, trade B. Miller to the blazers for j. Oneal even up. (blazers have the hots for miller)
step 3: Trade Oneal to the celtics for three draft picks next year! (they have offered this to the blazers!
End Deal-Hawkins for 3 draft picks.....sounds good to me.....but could take the whole season to work out....b/c of waiting for trades to be legal.
