Hmmmm. Mercer might start for a 7th or 8th seed right now but I think you are generally right. His 19ppg is a function of all the shots he takes. If he could get his FG% over 45% then I might feel better about it but he is primarily just a stat guy. If this team were any better he would be a cancer.

I dont think so. I agree with a previous post that said the bulls have been close in these last few games because of Mercer. The Bulls would be losing by 15 instead of 5 with no Mercer. And you guys know what, give the bulls about 2 weeks and they are gonna start winning the close ones.

Mercer is good, but Elton needs to ramp up and average 22 - 24 ppg for the Bulls to win.

Somebody taking the number of shots he does at his shooting percentage better be going to the foul line a helluva lot more and putting up numbers well above 20ppg if he were playing on a team anyone cared about.
