Winners have the best FG%'s and the most assists. Consider the following:

FG% range of teams 1-8 in Both conferences.

Eastern Conference: 0.402*-0.463

Western Conference: 0.452-0.469

APG Range:

Eastern Conf: 20.3-24.9

Western Conf: 21.1-26.5

Teams with losing records tend to have eith FG% or APG below the ranges shown.

EXAMPLES:

Heat : APG - 19; Knicks: APG-19.9;

Some teams are within the ranges, but still have losing records. Such teams should review their assisting and shooting policies, play slower, and concentrate more on limiting the opponents
