Time for business in the NBA as the Salary Cap for the 2008 - 09 Season was announced at $58,680 million.

And the tax level for the season has been set at $71,150 million - meaning - any team exceeding that amount in salaries will pay one dollar tax for each dollar in excess of $71,150 million.

The Salary Cap being set means the teams can begin signing free agents and making trades.

Whoo hoo! Let the games begin!
