Here are a couple possible Bulls-Wolves deal that would inevitably be discussed everywhere. Even if these trades benefit both teams, I would rather see Brand in Chicago till his retirement. It also depends on how much value Crawford has, since some have stated that he has more talent than Pippen.
Bulls get KG Wolves get Brand, 2001 unprotected 1st round pick
or
Bulls get KG Wolves get Fizer, Crawford, 2001 unprotected 1st round pick
or
Bulls get KG, Avery Wolves get Fizer, El-Amin, 2001 & 2003 unprotected 1st round picks

plus probably Crawford, and another 1st rounder at a MINIMUM
what are you smoking?
if anything, this decision basically means that Brandon is gonna be shipped out as soon as possible. They'll try to get a decent point guard, but if they can't, the reins will be handed to Avery or Billups, and they'll rough it out.

All wild speculation with no merit at all.
KG has said he has no immediate plans to go anywwhere, and he is the Wolves franchise player, so it's pretty unlikely they'd consider trading him any time soon.
All of these KG/Bulls trade rumors are nothing more than Bulls fans wishful pipe dreams.

Yep, enough said. Let the season begin. Lets just worry about making the lost 2001 pick as low as possible, for now.

What are you expecting, a detailed analysis? Read my first sentence.
Nah, because a Bulls 1st round pick might mean a top 3 pick in next year's very deep center draft, and Garnett would not be worth the equivalent of more than 2 franchise players considering his salary. You Wolves fans are probably bitter as hell at the moment considering your projected pathetic future courtesy of Glen Taylor, so I expected biased, angry responses if I listed trade rumors involving anything less than Odom, Francis, Brand, and a few 1st rounders from the Clippers for KG.

I will take the Wolves future over the Bulls future right now. The Wolves (despite this latest fiasco) still have a brighter future ahead of them for the next few seasons than the Bulls do, IMO.
Of course, after the Bulls great fall...you guys *are* entitled to your dreams. I'm sure it helps you get through those long nights at the United Center.
P.S. - KG's not going anywhere anytime soon, so set your sights on something a little more realistic for the Bulls future. Chicago doesn't get all the marquee players in the NBA. You *had* your glory days.

I would take the short term future of the Wolves with Garnett, Szerbiak and Brandon over the coming growing pains with this Bulls team. If Smith has a brain in his head, which he may not, then he will stay in Minnesota regardless of the pay cut.

It doesn't look like Joe will have a choice. Stern said he'll void any new contract Smith signs with the Wolves, and I don't think Smith or the Wolves want to keep this battle with the commissioner going any longer than they have to. I predict Joe will probably end up playing with the Heat or Lakers this season, or maybe the Knicks.

Hadn't heard that. Well in any event those teams have much brighter futures in front of them than the Bulls do. Short term at least.

It is official
Major trade after the Joe Smith debacle in Minnesota.
KG goes to Portland Kemp+Steve Smith+Pippen to LA Shaq to Minnesota
Brandon to NYC Sprewell+Childs to Houston Steve Francis to Minnesota
might as well dream right?

The deal is just waiting for a major movie and rap studio to open in Minnesota for Shaq. And someone to convince Francis that Minnesota is warmer than Vancouver. And Phil Jackson time to forget the 1.8 second incident. And a new neck brace for Rudy T. And convince the commish to just give the damn trophy to Portland.
