On Thursday, 2/28/02, WSCR 670AM's ('The Score!' host Mike North will host a charity function for 18 1/2 straight hours at the microphone!

Mike North....from 5:30 AM to midnight. All. DAY. LONG.

Okay, I support charity functions and all, and I know they're for a good cause...but couldn't the Score find someone else BESIDES North to do the marathon?? Maybe it's just me, but I think a marathon (especially a radio marathon) would be a lot more effective if the marathon leader wasn't some loud-mouth egomaniac who grates on people's nerves...

18 1/2 frickin' straight hours of Mike North...

Well, I know I won't be tuning in to 670 AM at all tomorrow...(what did the listeners do to deserve this???!

I agree. Now 18 hours of Boers and Bernstein...I could live with that.

Hehehe when I first started listening to that station last summer, I could take North for a couple hours in the car. But now, ack....by the time 12:15 rolls around, I'm pushing buttons wildly on the car radio trying to change the station.
