Timmy has now gone public in his disatisfaction with Miami and Pat Riley, and now has said that there is a 50-50 chance he will leave.
His first choice is Indiana, but he would be making a maximum of 2.25 million. His second choice? Chicago, the only team left with cap room. And another benefit; Tim Floyd coached Tim Hardaway in El Paso, and almost all former Floyd pupils have only praise for him.
This would work out nicely, since a lot of pressure would be removed from Crawford, and he could shift around from shooting to point guard. But it probably would mean that either Guyton or El-Amin would be cut or traded ... unless the Bulls plan to trade Timmy after 90 days.

If it means somebody gets cut, too bad. If they really want to carry three rookie guards, they will probably get creative with the DL anyway.

I can't imagine the Pacers wanting another point guard, unless Rose admits he is better on the wing.

Alas, probably true. Still, if this totally unsubstantiated rumor proved out I think it would be better for the Bulls than any other «veteran leadership» moves (the possible ones, that is) folks have been kicking around, simply because THardaway is actually a decent ball-handling guard. Crawford could turn out to be just fine in a year or two, but unless he turns out to be a more mature talent than anyone thinks, he's going to be pretty rough as a player to trigger the offense this year. Splitting duty with Tim for a year or two would be better for him and the whole team. Didn't Orlando or some team do this a couple of years ago with Terry Porter teaming up with their younger
