So here are my predictions:

To Go: Fizer Artest Benjamin

Coming in: Abdur-Rahim or Geiger or Antoine Walker

I know the deadline is coming up, and I just cannot imagine the Bulls not doing something. I would even welcome a trade just for the sake of PR.

At any rate, does anyone have any viable predictions?

(I saw that Kobe trade idea...that wouldn't count as viable.)

I heard that Artest put his house up for sale, so one could read into that: As in the Bulls told him that they are shopping him. I also suspect that they have been shopping Fizer since draft day.

<< Coming in: Abdur-Rahim or Geiger or Antoine Walker >>

I'm hoping for Abdur-Rahim, but I'm not holding my breath. I think part of the deal with Abdur-Rahim would include taking Byrant Reeves and his inflated contract off the Grizzlies hands. I know there's been some publicity about The Grizzlies making trades and breaking up their current team, but I will still be suprised if that includes getting rid of 'Reef. I think they would rather surround him with new players....but if they're willing to trade him, yeah, the Bulls should jump at that chance. There are 2 veterans I would be interested in seeing the Bulls go after. The first is Gary Payton. The reason this is interesting (besides his obvious talent) is his relationship with Jamal Crawford. I think he would end up being a great mentor to Crawford, along with being a force on the court for a few years. The reason I don't see this happenning is 1) I don't know that the Bulls have much to offer to grab Seattle's attention and 2) Krause doesn't like bringing in 'head cases' and Payton has been showing many signs of that lately. The other player of 'some' interest is Hakeem Olajowan, mostly because I've liked him for so long. Yes, he's old, he's slower, he's not the player he was, but I think he would be a great leader/teacher/locker room example for the young talent on this team....especially if the Bulls end up with one of the top centers in next years draft. These are not predictions....mainly points of interest.
