There have been a few posts recently regarding the Miles/Fizer draft that have had me wondering a few things. If the Cliipers really wanted Fizer, and the Bulls really only picked Fizer to block the trade with Orlando, what stopped the Bulls from making a similar trade for Miles? Obviously, it waouldn't be a stright-up trade. If that were the plan, then the Clippers would have just picked Fizer themselves. Or is it that the Bulls really have no interest in Miles? I haven't seen Miles play at all this year, so I have no clue how he's doing. I haven't seen Fizer too much yet, either (I just moved to Tennessee), but the times I've seen him there have been things that I've really liked offensively. Obviously, he;s struggling to finish plays right now, but I was genuinely inpressed with some of his post moves (I would be even more impressed if he made the shot after the move....but I think that will come). I am quickly becomming one of those people, though, that do believe that Brand and Fizer won't be able to coincide on the same team.

doing.

I believe the original rumor was that the Magic and Clippers had made a deal in which the Clippers gave up Miles (who Orlando wanted) and got Fizer (who Orlando was expected to take) and a couple of other players (maybe Wallace and Atkins?) and some cash. The Clippers got some players, the Magic got to clear cap room...

Krause doesn't seem to be able to deal with the Clippers or the Magic. Breaking up their deal certainly didn't help. I'm hoping that they will be able to overcome this and make a deal here soon (Fizer and the Clippers would be better off with Marcus in LA, the Bulls would be better with Odom or Miles)...

Probably because Krause insulted them previously while the Bulls were on top. Offers like Will Perdue and a 2nd round draft choice for their number 1

According to Monday's SunTimes (www.suntimes.com) sports page Coach wants some vets. No doubt some of you, like I, thought for a moment that the team had broken out in mad cow disease, but actually this seems to mean veteran players, the idea being that the team is just too young, and that loading up for yet another draft or trading young players with teams like the Clips won't help there

That article just shows how delusional and confused Bulls management really is. As you point out, what veterans would want to come here? Anybody remember the John Starkes debacle of last year? Secondly that would involve bringing in someone that would have to start learning the dreaded triangle offense. Last but not least,I truly believe that the Bulls are a team that no one wants to deal with unless they can hit a home run off of them. Floyd is just blowing smoke, trying to cover up for the fact that he doesn't belong in a head coaching position. Unc

There is one solution. Bring back Toni Kukoc! He is the only veteran out there who can help this team and he knows the triangle. Despite signing a big contract with the sixers, he is having trouble finding playing time for them. He has been quite unhappy with not being able start and all.

Now, the question is would he even want to come back here? He may be at a point that he wants to go to a contender also. Then again there is that old saying 'it is better to be a king in hell than to be a servant in heaven'! I am sure the sixers would bite if the Bulls offer somebody like Fizer. Or may be add a point guard (Guyton or Drew) to the mix since the sixers are looking for one with Snow and Claxton out. Comments?

Several problems with your solution. 1) He's not a team leader,2) A 4yr $29,000,000 contract that he signed in August, and 3) Krause would have to admit that he was dead wrong. For a good laugh go to http://www.nba.com/playerfile/toni_kukoc.html and click on the Feb 16,2000 audio clip. Unc
