We are not getting better we are getting worse. That is beyond dispute.
So. What do you all think it is going to take to get this turned around?
Personally I think Krause has to go. Not because he is unable to do the job, though I believe that to be so, but because he has the puking stench of failure all over him. He is a joke because he is perceived to be a joke and whether or not he has the capacity to turn this around is no longer the issue. Krause cannot stay ahead of the fan's and player's perceptions of him.
That being said BJ Armstrong isn't the answer either. Chicago isn't a developmental market.
Somehow we are going to have to snag a respected veteran. Someone who can lend this franchise some credibility around the league. And then, regardless of whether or not that person is the most talented player on the team, the rebuilding will start with him. Who? I have no clue.

True, even with Vince Carter going down Sunday Toronto was still able to win by 12.
A public lynching of Krause would be a good start!
As long as Krause stays we are pretty much blackballed by the rest of the league. Other GM's don't want to deal with him because of his obnoxious attitude while we were on top. The only FA's we attract are those that no one else really wants.
The only veteran I see coming back anytime soon is Kukoc and he's certainly not the answer.
