Hi, I'm new here. I'm not that a huge NBA-Fan (I'm not from USA!). But since the Bulls weren't that successful and MJ left them my interest went down.

Just one question: How could the Bulls lose all the players between a championship-season and the next? They had 7(?) titles in the 90's, right? They must have earned enough money to stand on top of the NBA for all time! Or not?! In european football, for example a club which wins a few championships in a row, has enough money to buy new good or even better players, when they lose important players. I don't understand it. Please tell me.

We do not win extra cap room or $$$ when we win Championships. WE lost all of our good players at once b/c that is what our Gm decided would be best for the team, just have a clean start.....start over. Plus, we only won six titles, not that it matters, heck, if you want to give us another, thats fine by me...j/k!

They didn't lose 'all the players'. Jordan retired and the Bulls had to choose between trying to compete with a team led by Pippen or letting Pippen go and trying to rebuild with younger players. They chose the latter.

It was 6, rather than 7.

Unlike European football, American basketball retricts the movement, and caps the payment, of top players.
